Camp 'Us Adventures makes full use of the Marietta High School campus
including tennis courts, track, soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball
courts, and much more. Typical camp field trips and activities in the
past have included roller and ice skating, bowling, putt-putt golf, swimming,
arts and crafts, movies, cooking, Braves games, Atlanta Zoo, Mayfield
Dairy, American Adventures, Chucky Cheese, Stone Mountain, and Ruby Falls.
We have the private use of the municipal swimming pool on Lawrence Street
and qualified lifeguards oversee our visits. Marietta City Schools' buses
and drivers provide transportation for all field trips.
A typical week at camp includes a swim day, enrichment day, field trip
day, and special activities. Campers are assigned to groups by age and
the trips/activities are age appropriate. You may view sample calendars
from past years here Team
A, Grades K and 1st, Team
B, Grades 2nd and 3rd, Team
C, Grades 4th and 5th, Team
D, Grades 6th, 7th and 8th.
We follow the activity calendars as closely as possible and very seldom
make changes unless weather dictates. If changes must be made we try to
keep the same time schedule for the convenience of the parents at pick-up.
Plan to send a lunch each day unless the calendar notes that a food court
is available or a special camp cookout is scheduled. We usually include
information on the calendar if your child can bring extra money for optional
food. |
